RESEARCH


In this task, we will be divided into two groups for video shooting.

Process report







The two groups for this task are divided into S and B. The movie we collectively need to work on is "BEEF." Our task is to collaborate with team members to complete this project. Next, we will discuss and analyze the requirements of the project.

First, we need to assign roles within the group, specifying what each person should do. In this task, there are many details to address. If we decide in advance what each person will be responsible for, it will improve efficiency, allowing us to complete the project work more quickly.




We used the WhatsApp application to discuss the steps and ideas for the shoot, and assigned tasks to each team member. During the first week of the task, we organized our team and conducted the shoot in the designated studio. We followed the sequence outlined for the shoot, breaking down the shots for each part of the task.

In this task during the sixth week, the instructor introduced us to the concept of color contrast, suggesting adjustments to color contrast based on the lighting conditions of each group's shots. This not only allows for comfortable overall scene adjustments but also enhances the visual impact.

After completing certain steps, I added background music and closing credits to the video. The instructor guided us on how to do this, and I included the names of all team members in our project.

PROJECT 2B:  TIKTOK/INSTA

In the 2B task, we were required to shoot a video based on the knowledge we had acquired and upload it to TikTok. This was relatively easy for me, and we needed to creatively express our ideas as per the instructor's guidelines.


Mr. Martin provided a PowerPoint file outlining the elements required for Project 2B proposals, including project title, description, music details, moodboard, visual references, and storyboard, serving as a comprehensive plan to communicate the creative vision and execution.

Photographic Record



For this task, I invited my classmates to film me because I enjoy documenting life. I chose to capture the process from our school dismissal to having a meal together. This is both the theme of the task and a glimpse into my daily life, which I believe is worth documenting.

After shooting the segments of the task, I organized them, edited, and adjusted the colors. Additionally, I added sound for overall effect adjustments.

REFILECTION

In the completion process of Project 2A, I found that working together with many team members allowed me to learn a lot, and it significantly accelerated the efficiency of task completion. In contrast to when I used to independently tackle tasks, I often felt lost and required more guidance. However, during this group project, our roles were clearly defined, and each member was diligently carrying out their assigned tasks. I believe organizing more group tasks like this in future courses would be beneficial.

Regarding the video editing task in Project 2B, initially, I was quite hesitant because it involved filming my own face, making me feel self-conscious. This task posed a small challenge for me, and I noticed that I paid careful attention to the duration and shooting angles during the video editing process. My friend and I made numerous attempts, applying the filming knowledge we acquired in class. I believe that this knowledge will also be applicable in future courses.
