Reflection

Experience

In this course, I found it to be quite challenging for me. I faced difficulties because I didn't have a thorough understanding of the content beforehand. In Task 1, after carefully analyzing the course guidance from the instructor, I gained a better understanding of the course, and Task 1 progressed relatively smoothly. However, in Tasks 2 and 3, I once again felt confused about new knowledge. Creating a font related to my own name and designing a font using specified software were tasks that required additional clarification. After receiving feedback from Mr. Vinod, I was able to complete these tasks.

Observation

Throughout the entire semester, this course demanded greater patience from me. Challenging myself is a part of the learning process, and the skills acquired will be applicable in future courses, influencing them significantly.

Findings

Advanced Typography, compared to the previous semester, delves into more intricate details. It requires dedicating more time to understanding rather than directly creating, thereby extending the time spent on the creative process. Ultimately, I believe this course will be immensely beneficial to my profession, serving as both a foundation and a crucial component.
